This week the Entertainment Computing Group is visiting the International Conference on Entertainment Computing (ICEC) in Vienna! At ICEC current trends and research results in the field of Entertainment Computing are presented. Prof. Maic Masuch is going to speak about “Success Factors for Applied Game Projects - An Exploratory Framework for Practitioners” on wednesday (09/28/2016). Stefan Liszio will present his current work in the context of Virtual Reality Games within his presentation of his paper “Designing Shared Virtual Reality Gaming Experiences in Local Multi-Platform Games” on Thursday (09/29/2016). We kindly invite you to our colloquium on the 5th of October, featuring two final master thesis presentations: Andre Hellwig is going to talk about his work on a two-player game for children which is supposed to increase social and emotional skills and to prevent bullying. Philipp Sykownik is going to present his research on shared control in multiplayer games and its influence on player experience and need satisfaction.
