Description

Like no other technology, virtual reality offers immersive game worlds and a high degree of reality. Most of the virtual game experience happens without experiencing other players. This is mainly due to the circumstance that no convincing multi-player concepts exist for VR-games. But could those concepts be worthwhile? Social interactions significantly define fun in common multi-player games from Monopoly to Mario Kart. At first glance social interactions in a real room within an VR Setting seem to be impossible. This trouble is the cornerstone of the project. Hence a communicative virtual reality multi-player game shall be designed and implemented. The players will use google cardboard and interact together with a real-world object which is also part of the virtual world.
