The Entertainment Computing Group is researching in digital games and multimedia systems. We are trying to answer questions for example concerning 3D and 2D Graphic Design, Web Development, Stereo 3D, Virtual Reality, Interface and Interaction Design, Audio, Video, as well as Player and User Experience.
In our lectures, lab courses, and theses, we offer students the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in the design and the development of digital games. Our educational goal is to support an independent, creative and committed work and the ability to work in a team.
Especially our lectures for bachelor students "Digital Media" and "Multimedia Systems", highlight the possibilities of digital Media and Systems in an application-oriented manner. Our master courses "Game Architecture and Design" and "Digital Games" teach theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Game Design and Game Development, as well as methods and advances in digital game research.
