This thesis involves the concept and development of a virtual environment that allows HMD users and smartphone users to interact within the same roomscale VR environment. The smartphone tracks the player‘s position within the room using Google ARCore thus integrating him into the virtual world. The smartphone user shall be able to select different modes of interacting with virtual objects. The smartphone user shall also be able to select if the entire virtual environment is rendered or if only virtual objects relevant to the player are rendered in augmented reality. The goal of this thesis is to allow the comparison of these modes of interaction and presentation.
