Dynamic Generation of Affective VR Games: Development of a Modular Content Combining Framework
Christopher Kremzow-Tennie
Abstract
The intent of this thesis is to implement a framework to dynamically generate VR games. By combining several pieces of content, a variety of outputs can be generated. This framework is supposed to be used in studies to further research the effects of specific combinations of game elements. While it can be used as a tool to randomly generate VR games, its main purpose is to investigate the effects of game combinations on the mood of a person. Throughout this thesis the focus will be on game elements that attempt to cause a positive effect on a person’s mood. The framework will be structured in a modular way, so it can be extended with new sets of game elements in the future.
